How does the quote process work?
Cockpits and turnkey builds are quote first. Tell us your discipline, your space and your budget, and we reply within 48 hours with a full written proposal covering hardware, delivery, installation and timeline. Nothing is ordered and nothing is charged until you approve it.
Why are chassis quote first instead of add to cart?
Because every Sabelt cockpit involves choices. Which wheel mount fits your wheelbase, which seat colour, which monitor setup. Selling it as a one click product would guarantee mistakes. A five minute conversation prevents a $3,000 one.
Who actually uses this equipment?
We coach drivers competing at factory and professional level, and our own sim team trains on this exact hardware every week. Nothing goes in the store that has not survived that mileage. When we say a pedal set holds up over a four hour stint, it is because ours did.
What do the Stage 1, 2 and 3 configurations mean?
Sabelt sells its cockpits in three bundles. Stage 1 is the cockpit plus wheel and pedal mounting. Stage 2 adds the matching seat, brackets and a chassis mounted monitor mount. Stage 3 is the complete build with seat, freestanding monitor stand with triple support, side mounts, keyboard tray and mouse plate. Every product page lists exactly what is included.
Where do you ship and install?
United States and Canada. Parts and accessories ship within 2 business days, free on orders over $500 in the US and over $750 to Canada. Seats, cockpits and turnkey rigs ship as freight and are priced separately. Full detail is on our Shipping page.
What are the lead times?
In stock parts and accessories: 2 business days. Sabelt cockpits and seats, configured to order: 3 to 6 weeks. Turnkey builds: 3 to 8 weeks depending on configuration and Sabelt production.
Should I buy a Simucube 2 or a Simucube 3?
Simucube 3 is the current generation. Each unit is laser scanned in production so its control algorithm is tuned to that specific motor, and the Link quick release carries power and data with no contacts to wear out. Simucube 2 is still excellent and still supported, and the Sport at $999 remains the best value entry into real direct drive. If budget allows, go 3.
Can I upgrade a rig later?
Yes. Every build uses standard Sabelt mounting patterns, so wheelbases, wheels, pedals and seats swap without modification. Start with a Stage 1 cockpit and grow into a full build over time. That is how the platform is designed.
Is this equipment the same as what is on Sabelt's own site?
Identical. Genuine Sabelt product at Sabelt pricing, supplied through our official partnership. What you get on top is the coaching relationship, the build service, and someone who picks up the phone.
Do you help with setup after delivery?
Yes. Every turnkey build includes a calibration session. Force feedback, pedal curves, seat and wheel ergonomics dialled in with you in the seat. Because we coach drivers for a living, that conversation usually goes well beyond the hardware.
