Seats
The seat is where most rigs go wrong. A gaming chair moves under braking, so your body braces instead of feeling the pedal, and you lose the one input that decides lap time. A real motorsport seat holds you still. Sabelt build seats for professional race teams, and these are the same shells with sim specific mounting. The SRS-1 is the GT seat, the SRP-1 is the formula seat and the SRX-1 is the road position, all in fibreglass from $699. Above them sit the GT-PAD, GT-3, X-PAD, Taurus, Titan Max, SPINE, GT-AM, GT-PRO, GT-635 and GT-X CHP, which are Sabelt's competition seats and fit a sim rig with the right brackets. If you are not sure which shell fits you, read the guides or email me your height and weight.
