Sabelt SRP-1 Formula Sim Racing Seat

What it is

The SRP-1 puts you in a genuine single seater position, legs elevated and back reclined close to horizontal. Fibreglass competition shell, 20 mm high density foam, built by Sabelt. If you race open wheel no GT seat replicates this. The driving position is the product. $749 in three finishes.

Who it suits

Formula drivers and anyone on the P99 EVO I or SIM LITE Formula cockpit. For GT cars the SRS-1 is the right shell, and for an upright road position the SRX-1.

Finishes

Deep Black is all black, clean and understated. Racing Black keeps the black shell with contrast pads and stitching. Racing Red puts red pads against the black shell, the classic formula look. Pick a finish above and the photo updates. The SRP-1 Custom Built lets you choose cover, pad and stitching colours plus your name in embroidery, handcrafted in Italy with up to 30 days lead time.

Compatibility

Fits the Sabelt P Series formula cockpits. It is side mounted through brackets, so your wheelbase and pedal choice does not affect fit. Mounting it on another brand of formula rig depends on the bracket, so send me the rig model first.

What is in the box

The shell and the pads kit. Seat brackets and sliders are sold separately, because the bracket depends on which cockpit you are mounting to. You need brackets to fit it to a rig and sliders only if you want fore and aft adjustment. It fits the Sabelt P Series formula cockpits. Two year warranty, made in Italy.

Shipping and lead time

I ship to the United States and Canada only. Sabelt seats are configured to order with a lead time of 3 to 6 weeks, and they ship as freight from my workshop in Miami rather than by parcel, so freight is quoted separately and is not covered by the free parts shipping.
