Sabelt GT-635 Motorsport Racing Seat

What it is

The GT-635 is an FIA 8862-2009 carbon seat for circuit or rally. Its flat bottom and specific back inclination were developed through extensive study to put the driver in the most ergonomically optimal position. The DCT halo offers head protection, and double shoulder harness slots let the same shell fit drivers with very different torso heights. $10,495.95, pick the size and fixing type above.

Who it suits

Drivers running at a level where FIA 8862 is required, in circuit or rally cars, and anyone who wants the top of the Sabelt range on a sim so the posture is identical to the car. The sliding rail version is circuit only. The fixed bracket version covers GT, rally and circuit.

FIA 8862-2009 homologated. Carbon fibre shell in two sizes, M as the small shell and L or XL as the big shell. Suitable for rally or circuit use. Double shoulder harness slots. Available for sliding rails, circuit only, or fixed brackets for GT, rally and circuit. Shipping weight 45 lb.

Compatibility

Fits the Sabelt S99 EVO I and X99 EVO I cockpits with the appropriate side brackets, and any rig or car that takes a side mounted competition seat. Wheelbase and pedal choice does not affect the seat, so it sits behind a Simucube, Fanatec or any other base, and in front of Heusinkveld or Simucube pedals, without change.

What is in the box

The seat shell with its fitted padding. Side brackets, sliders and mounting hardware are sold separately under seat accessories, because the bracket depends on the cockpit. If you are putting this seat on a Sabelt S Series or X Series cockpit, ask me and I will specify the bracket.

Shipping and lead time

I ship to the United States and Canada only. Sabelt seats are configured to order with a lead time of 3 to 6 weeks, and they ship as freight from my workshop in Miami rather than by parcel, so freight is quoted separately and is not covered by the free parts shipping.
