Sabelt SRS-1 GT Sim Racing Seat

What it is

The SRS-1 is Sabelt's GT bucket for sim racing. A fibreglass competition shell with 20 mm high density foam, a reclined driving position and the side bolster support that stops you bracing against the wheel through long left handers. A seat that flexes under braking moves your reference points every lap. This one does not. It is the shell my coaching drivers run at home, and it is the same construction Sabelt supplies to real race teams. $699 in three finishes.

Who it suits

GT, touring car and prototype drivers, and anyone on the S99 EVO I or X99 EVO I cockpit. If you race open wheel you want the SRP-1, and if you sit upright for rally or road cars the SRX-1.

Finishes

Deep Black is all black with no contrast and disappears into a rig. Racing Black keeps the black shell and adds contrast pads and stitching. Racing Yellow puts yellow pads against the black shell and is the loudest option in the standard range. Pick a finish above and the photo updates. If you want your own colours, the SRS-1 Custom Built lets you choose cover, pad and stitching colour and add your name in embroidery, handcrafted in Italy with up to 30 days lead time.

Compatibility

Fits the Sabelt S Series and X Series cockpits and the SIM LITE GT. The seat is side mounted through brackets, so the wheelbase and pedals you run make no difference to fit. If you are mounting it to a rig from another brand, send me the rig model and I will tell you what bracket you need.

What is in the box

The shell and the pads kit. Seat brackets and sliders are sold separately, because the bracket depends on which cockpit you are mounting to. You need brackets to fit it to a rig and sliders only if you want fore and aft adjustment. It fits the Sabelt S Series and X Series cockpits. Two year warranty, made in Italy.

Shipping and lead time

I ship to the United States and Canada only. Sabelt seats are configured to order with a lead time of 3 to 6 weeks, and they ship as freight from my workshop in Miami rather than by parcel, so freight is quoted separately and is not covered by the free parts shipping.
