A custom built motion simulator made from a real professional formula car chassis. The closest you can get to the feel of the actual car without a race licence and a pit lane.

The Factory Pro Driver Sim does not start with a cockpit frame. It starts with a genuine carbon fibre monocoque, the same survival cell a driver climbs into on a race weekend, stripped, inspected and rebuilt as a simulator. Nothing here is moulded to look the part. You get in over the real side rails, drop your hips below the floor line and stretch your legs forward into the original footbox. The driving position is not an interpretation of formula seating. It is formula seating, because the tub decides where your body goes and the tub came off a race car.

Beneath the chassis sit four motion actuators, one at every corner of an aluminium motion platform, bolted straight into the structure of the tub. The whole car moves as one mass the way a real one does. You feel the front end load up before the apex, the rear step out under power, the kerb strike arrive through the floor and not through a speaker. Braking pitches you forward into the belts. Traction loss reaches you early enough to catch it. That is the difference between a simulator you play and a simulator you train on.

The triple screen display is mounted to the chassis itself rather than to the floor, so the picture pitches and rolls with you and your eyes never break from the horizon. A carbon formula wheel with a full colour display, rotaries and shift paddles sits on a quick release hub at the top of the tub. The direct drive wheelbase and the pedal set are concealed inside the monocoque, out of sight exactly as they are in the real car, so what you look at is a race car and not a rig.

Every Factory Pro Driver Sim is a one off. We spec the chassis, the actuators, the wheelbase, the pedals, the display and the software around the driver who is going to sit in it, then we build it, deliver it, install it and calibrate it in person. Force feedback, pedal curves, motion gain and seating geometry are dialled in with you in the car by coaches who review driver data for a living. Whether you race formula, GT or prototypes, the training carries over, because the fundamentals of loading a tyre do not change with the bodywork.
